Compliance / Risk Audits and ISO 14001 Gap Analysis

Our client conducts regular environmental compliance audits of their facilities to maintain their ISO certification.  Keystone Environmental is the chosen auditor of these facilities given our focus on achieving our client’s objectives.

Conduct environmental compliance and risk audits for two wood production facilities. This included a review of the water supply, run-off and storm water management and wastewater treatment. The audit was based on the approval and the draft approval requirements. 

Conduct a gap analysis working with the plant safety and environmental manager and other senior personnel to identify existing systems that met or partially met the ISO 14001 requirements and any areas where systems were absent or did not meet the requirements.

The audit report included recommendations for follow-up action in order to achieve compliance and reduce environmental risk.
