Phase I Field Supervisor,
Contaminated Sites

Posted: September 13, 2018

Keystone Environmental is a dynamic and rapidly expanding environmental consulting firm located in Burnaby, BC.  Voted as one of Canada’s top 100 small and medium employers for 2018 and one of Canada’s best employers for recent graduates, we pride ourselves on providing a fun, challenging and supportive environment that allows our people to achieve their professional objectives and goals while enjoying the journey along the way.  Keystone Environmental offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package as well as a supportive and dynamic work environment designed to enhance employee experience and engagement.

Our Contaminated Sites Investigation department has an immediate opening for a recent graduate to join our Phase 1 Environmental Assessment group.

You are a recent graduate of an Environmental Science or Engineering program from an accredited University and are pursuing a P. Eng., P. Geo., or P. Ag. designation.  You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and an aptitude for technical writing.  You believe firmly in the importance of teamwork and adding value to the team.  You can manage your time effectively and are enthusiastic, positive and focused on solutions, not problems.  You have gained some experience through Coop and/or summer work placement, but it’s not the end of the world if you haven’t because what we’re really looking for is someone with the right attitude and a desire to learn and develop.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Compile and interpret historical records collected from various online sources
  • Travel to sites to observe site conditions and to conduct interviews with persons knowledgeable of site activities
  • Evaluate and conceptualize collected information to determine the potential for contamination to be present
  • Present findings in a technical report format

All interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to email their resume and cover letter to rbertani@nullkeystoneenvironmental.ca, or fax to 604-430-0672, referencing “Phase I Field Supervisor”, in the subject line.

We thank all candidates for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
