Francisco A. Perelló coordinates consultant programs and manages environmental engineering projects for a variety of clients and market sectors. These projects and programs exceed millions of dollars in budget, span many years from planning to completion, and comprise multi-disciplinary and complex assignments.

His technical knowledge, experience and expertise involves investigation, design and implementation of simple to complex remedial strategies including in-situ treatment and permanent containment of metal and petroleum-contaminated soil, slurry and sealed sheet pile walls, chemical injections, sediment dredging and/or capping, bio‑remediation, dual-phase extraction system, risk management, monitored natural attenuation and many other technologies. Remediation costs have ranged from thousands to $30 million with projects timelines ranging from months to multiple years. He oversees preparation of tender specifications and packages, bid evaluation, contract award, remedial oversight, and regulatory submissions upon completion of remedial activities.

With over 20 years of experience in environmental consulting, he has completed projects in across Canada, the Western USA, Latin America and Southeast Asia. During his professional career he has been directly involved in or managed hundreds of environmental projects from treating contaminated sediments in fresh water and marine settings, re-mediating impacted groundwater and soils as well as developing management strategies for many industrial and transportation facilities.

Dr. Francisco Perelló frequently speaks at conferences and professional events, is published in magazine articles and the author of “Energy and the Environment.” He volunteers on professional boards and for cultural groups, and is a regular technical contributor to social media, he is known for his passion for innovative solutions.
