Permits Approvals
Permits approvals are often required in order to maintain compliance with Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations. Our project managers work closely with clients during the planning stages of a project to identify any applicable permits and approvals required for timing of the overall project in addition to work that may be required prior to approval and on any specific activities.
Keystone Environmental consults directly with regulators, on your behalf, to acquire these permits within project timelines. The following is a list of some of the environmental permits and approvals that may be required:
-
- Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Fisheries Act, Request for Review and Authorization to carry on a proposed work, undertaking or activity causing serious harm to fish
-
- Transportation Canada, Navigation Protection Act Approval for works and obstructions that risk interfering with navigation in the navigable waters
-
- Environment Canada, Disposal at Sea permit for disposal of upland soils or dredgate sediments
